John Young is an associate professor in the Turner School of Theology at Amridge University and the Director of Adult Education at North Tuscaloosa Church of Christ. His primary research explores how beliefs about the early church have changed over time within the theologies of various Stone-Campbell Movement groups. His other research interests include the intersections of religion with politics and pop culture, as well as southern history and culture.
