In the summer of 2018, I had the privilege of teaching a lesson series on the history of Churches of Christ at my home congregation. Throughout the subsequent fall and spring, I worked that material into manuscript form, and now, the fruit of that labor–Visions of Restoration: The History of Churches of Christ–is available from Cypress Publications/Heritage Christian University Press. This accessible book is broken into thirteen easy-to-read chapters (with accompanying discussion questions for adult Bible class or small group settings) and includes an essay with suggestions for further study.
